Sunu002 copy 2Carey Velenchenko is National Board certified and is licensed by the State Medical Board to practice acupuncture and Oriental medicine. She has had 14 years of experience treating clients in a wide variety of settings including: private practice, total wellness, and adolescent and adult residential programming for the treatment of eating disorders.

Carey’s experience has given her the necessary tools and wisdom to treat a wide variety of conditions and symptoms including depression, anxiety, digestive issues, pain and injuries, menstrual irregularities, infertility, auto-immune disorders, headaches and migraines, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and menopausal discomfort.


Carey attended the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. She studied both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs and graduated in 2002 with a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine.
